How to change myspace background with div overlay?

I would like to start this one by giving the basics of div overlay. This is quite different from just changing your background or customizing it but this one is specifically for covering areas in your myspace profile like the base, navigation bar or contents, comments and colors. It can be done and still retain some of the default page or even cover the whole area except for the top advertisement which is I think , prohibited by myspace, that’s why. Basically, it’s like this, there is a piece of paper and the divs are like post-its that you put on it to cover some parts of the paper that you don’t want to show. Get it? Okay now, let’s try.

The easiest way to go about this is to find a site that has a div layout generator right?
1. You have to find one and decide on the parts that you want to hide and those you want to show. You will be provided with a code. Right click mouse and copy.
2. Access your myspace account and edit your profile.
3. On your “like to meet” section, paste the code in the end part of it.
4. Save changes and see your handy work. Proud huh?! You should be.

There are more complicated instructions on how to do this. The one I gave you is what I call a “cheat” because we made use of a code generator but certainly you can do this your way, from scratch, if you want a very original, very “you” overlay. I would say, the possibilities are limitless and if you have patience, it won’t take long to land an awesome myspace profile to show off to your friends!
