What is HTML?

I gathered that HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language or the language of web pages. This language is understood by the browser and allows websites to be viewed as to how the webdesigner wanted them to be. They are usually mistaken for codes when actually they are written in English language, only this is not in the usual format, after all, they are meant for the computers, not humans, right?

Hypertext by definition is the method by which you move around the net whenever, wherever you want. It is done so by clicking on hyperlinks, the underlined, usually colored characters on a web page.

What better way to visualize this HTML than by clicking view on upper left side of your screen and click on page source then you will get an idea of what HTML looks like.

Change your myspace background, fonts, size, layouts, and you use HTML codes. They are the ones you add on your profile sections to enforce what you want others to see on your page.
