MySpace Profile 2.0 is basically just an upgrade to the old system that MySpace uses. The most common complaint with the old structure was that it made pages messy. For example, there were complaints that music played simultaneously every time you clicked on the profiles of other users or uneven paragraphs. With 2.0, MySpace pages are neat and well organized.
Another feature of the upgrade is the loading speed. Better optimization means faster profile loading. Some users are even opting to hide other sections of their profile for even faster loading. Another cool feature of the new “do” is better privacy options. You can choose which section of your profile can be viewed by your friends. You can hide your location or your age. Friends can be categorized so that you can have control as to exactly WHO has access to which part of your personal profile.
Perhaps the coolest feature of 2.0 is the customization. 2.0 has made editing easier by supporting drag and dropping modules for your profile. Now customizing your profile any way you want to will be simpler.
MySpace currently supports both the old version and 2.0. The MySpace 2.0 redesign is completely optional. So for those who prefer the “old look”, there is no need to worry.
