There are tons of social networking sites out there.  Yet one of them is a cut above the rest and that site is MySpace.  But just what is the hype all about?  Why MySpace and not Friendster or Facebook or Bebo?  Here are some reasons why we think MySpace is cool.

First off, MySpace ranks no.6 in Alexa.com’s most heavily trafficked website.  This means that out of all the websites out there MySpace ranks 6th as the most visited website and is actually no.1 or the most visited social networking website globally.  This means more exposure, more friends and more fun.

Secondly, MySpace has gone mobile!  There are 33 million cell phone subscribers out there, that means 33 million more potential friends or markets all within access of your cell phone.  Cell phone subscribers actually dwarf the number of people with access to internet.  In countries like the UK for example it is much more common to own a mobile phone than to own a dog.

Another reason why MySpace rocks is that the number of emails sent from the network is actually more than the number sent from sites like Yahoo and Google.  60,000 videos are uploaded onto the site daily and new apps, add-ons and other cool features are regularly being added onto the site.

Need more reason?  Aside from being uber popular worldwide, statistics show that 1 in 4 Americans have a MySpace page and is actually the US’ most visited website.
