1. Find the code you want to add to your MySpace profile on changemysapcebackground.com , right click it and click ‘Copy.’ This will add the code to your clipboard.

2. You’ll need to sign into your MySpace account if you have not done so already. Go to MySpace.com (opens in a new window), and in the Member login box (half way down on the right), enter the e-mail address and password you registered with.

3. In the blue box on the left, which says something like “Hello, abc123!” there is a link which reads “Edit Profile.” Click this link.

4. Now you’ll be confronted by a set of blue tabs. The active one will say “Interests & Personality.” Leave this tab active.

5. Below the tabs are a list of fields you can edit. Click the ‘edit’ under one of them

6. UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED YOU CAN ASSUME ALL CODES ARE TO BE PASTED INTO THE “ABOUT ME SECTION”

7. A text box will appear. Paste (right-click, “paste”) the code you copied before into this box and then click “Preview.”

8. You should then see a preview of the effects of your code. If you like it, click “Submit,” and your changes will be saved.

9. Click home, and then in the blue box on the left (saying “Hello, abc123!”) click “View My Profile.”
